Is it safe to participate in clinical research?
Clinical research is carefully regulated and follows strict ethical and safety standards. Every study is reviewed by independent ethics committees and overseen by qualified medical professionals. While we don’t yet know everything about the study drug or all possible side effects, your health and safety is our top priority. The study is carefully monitored, and you’ll receive close attention throughout. If any concerns arise, the research team will act quickly to support you
Why do most studies need healthy participants?
Healthy participants play a key role in helping researchers understand how potential new treatments behave in the body without the influence of illness. Volunteer participation is essential in developing safe, effective, and innovative drugs.
At times, we also conduct studies that require participants with specific medical conditions such as COPD, asthma, type 2 diabetes, and others. These studies are equally important in advancing targeted therapies and improving patient outcomes.
How long do I have to wait before applying for another study?
After participating in a clinical study, there’s often a “washout period” which is a required waiting time before you can enroll in another study. This is for your safety and also ensures that any medication or procedures from the previous study don’t affect the results of the next one. The length of this period varies depending on the study, but we’ll always let you know when you’re able to seek participation in another study.
Will I be paid for taking part?
Yes. We offer compensation for your participation. The terms of payment will be clearly indicated in your study documents.
How long does a study take?
It varies from one study to another. In most cases, there will be a clinical stay of a minimum of 2 nights. Some studies can last several days or weeks. We’ll always give you a clear schedule upfront.
Can I withdraw at any time?
Absolutely. Participation is voluntary, and you can leave the study at any time.
Will my personal information be kept confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is protected by law and by our commitment to confidentiality. You can consult our privacy policy here.
